It’s been a while since the Android Nougat 7.0 has been released and now everyone is trying to update their devices to this operating system. We have to mention that the Nexus owners were the first ones that were able to try out the Android Nougat 7.0 on their handsets, but soon enough, HTC, Motorola, LG, Sony, Samsung and other companies have brought this update to their devices also.
If the Android Nougat 7.0 update is available for your device, we suggest you to firstly backup your Android data to your computer. This way, in case something goes wrong, you will not lose any important data in the updating process. We suggest you to use EaseUS MobiSaver for Android in order to backup all your important data on your computer.
Using EaseUS MobiSaver For Android On Windows PC
First of all, you will need to download and install the EaseUS MobiSaver For Android on your Windows PC. Once the installation is complete, you will just need to connect the Android mobile to your computer, open the EaseUS MobiSaver For Android application and click on the Scan all Android data->Save Android data to computer.
Updating Your Device From Android Marshmallow 6.0 to Android Nougat 7.0
If you are not that experienced, we suggest you to get this update via OTA (over-the-air). This way, the risks will be very low and you will not have to be a tech savvy to install the update. Before you start the updating, we suggest you to have at least 50% battery left and to connect the device to a Wi-Fi network. After that, do the followings:
- Go to Settings and tap on the “About Phone” option;
- Here, you will be able to see a “System Updates” option, which will allow you to simply download the new Android Nougat 7.0 update to your device;
- When the download is complete, the installation of the new Android Nougat 7.0 update will begin;
- Keep in mind that this process might take a few minutes and the first time when the device will boot to the Android Nougat 7.0 will take longer than usual.
HINT: Keep in mind that if your device still runs on Android Lollipop, you will firstly have to update it to Android Marshmallow and, after that, to Android Nougat (if it supports it).
