Sony has released yesterday a new update for its PlayStation 4 console. The new 4.55 update comes with some fixes that many gamers have been expecting since the 4.50 update was released.
The new PlayStation 4 Update 4.55 has a file size of 324MB and it is fixing the Wi-Fi connectivity problems that have haunted the gamers. At the same time, it resolves the crashes that were happening on the PlayStation 4 Pro console.
However, Sony has not confirmed any of the mentioned fixed, as the gamers have reported them after they’ve installed the update 4.55 on their PS4 consoles. The patch notes only say that “This system software update improves the quality of the system performance,” but we are sure that Sony will offer more details about it soon.
We remind you that after the 4.50 update was released for PlayStation 4, many users have reported that they have really bad connection over Wi-Fi and that they can barely play online games via their console. Most of them fixed this issue by just using a cable from their console to the router.
We remind you that the update 4.50 has brought a few issues, but it also contained many new features and options such as “Boost Mode” for PS4 Pro, improved 2D visuals for PS VR and support for external HDD. Thanks to the latter mentioned option, the players are now able to connect an external HDD to their console, which is awesome, especially for the ones that own PS4 consoles that come with only 500GB of storage.
If you have not installed the latest update on your PS4 console, we suggest you to do it right away, especially if you had issues with the Wi-Fi connection.
