Clash of Clans is one of the most popular mobile strategy games out there. Even if the game is a few years old, there are new players who are installing it on their mobile devices. Today we will give some tips and tricks that would help anyone who wants to start playing this game.
If you don’t plan to purchase Gems (real money currency) in this game, then we suggest you to save them as much as possible. This means that you should never waste them to instantly train some troops or to instantly upgrade a building. Instead, you should save gems for purchasing Builder Huts. A Builder Hut comes with a builder that is used to build/upgrade your buildings. The first builder you get for free, but for the rest of them you will need to pay: 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 gems.
Using Cheap Troops
The goal in this game is to raid other players’ villages and steal their elixir and gold. With these two resources, you will be able to upgrade your buildings and train your troops. Keep in mind that ALL the troops that you send in a raid will NOT return to your village (even if they don’t die). This is the reason why you should NEVER use expensive troops, especially when you are farming for resources. For example, once you start playing this game, you should use Barbarians and Archers, as they are a good combo for beginners.
Spells are very expensive in Clash of Clans and you should use them ONLY if you are sure that you will get more resources that you’ve spent on your troops + spells. Many new Clash of Clans players make this mistake and they start wasting spells that cost more than they gain from a raid, so, please avoid doing that.
Using The “Next” Option
When you farm for trophies or resources, you should always try to skip a raid by tapping on the “Next” button. In other words, if you notice that the village you are about to raid is well defended, just tap “Next” until you find a village that is worth raiding.
