For those in search of the ultimate laptop, the decision can be pretty hard to make. There are several laptops out there worthy of our attention. Two of those, rivaling each other are the HP Omen 15 (2017) and the Surface Book 2. Both have excellent specifications and features and depending on what you are looking for, this article might help you decide.

Surface Book 2

On the right corner we have Microsoft’s laptop has a 13.5-inch Display (PixelSense) and a starting price of 1.499$. It uses Windows 10 as its operating system and under the hood it comes with Core i5-7300U (3.2 GHz)/Core i7-8650U (4.2GHz). The laptop has 8/16 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB SSD or the option of 1TB SSD.

Surface Book 2 comes with two cameras: the rear one of 8MP and a frontal camera of 5MP.

HP Omen 15

On the left corner we have HP’s newest laptop and it has similar features with his rival. Some differences include the display. HP Omen 15 has a 15-inch Full HD/ Full HD (120HZ)/ 4K display options, resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD)/ 2840/2160 (4K) and Core i7-7700HQ CPU.

From the two laptops, Omen 15 is the winner, offering 1TB HDD, 1 TB HDD + 128 GB SSD, 2 TB + 128GB SSD or 2 TB +256GB SSD.

It also offers more than two RAM options: 8/16 or 32 GB of RAM and more ports: Thunderbolt, 3 USB 3.1, mini DisplayPort, HDMI 2.0, Ethernet, headphone and microphone and full-size SDXC card reader.

Its starting price is of 860$.
