Almost everyone has a Gmail account nowadays, especially users who own an Android device. There are cases when we forget our password and today we will teach you how to reset your Gmail password when you can’t remember it.
We have to mention that your Google Account is used to access your Gmail, YouTube and Google Products.
Gmail: How To Reset Your Password
First of all, you will need to open the recovery webpage by clicking on this Google web page and write in your email or phone number. After that, you will be asked some security questions to confirm that you are the owner of the account.
You will be then asked if you want to receive a text message (if you’ve saved your mobile phone number) or a link to your alternative email to recover your password. In case you don’t receive an email on your alternative email account, we suggest you to check your spam or bulk mail folders or add firstname.lastname@example.org to your address book and request a new email to be sent.
Once you receive the link, click on it and you will be redirected to a webpage where you can set your new Gmail password.
We suggest you to always put your real mobile phone number and alternative email in your Gmail account. This way, you will be able to easily recover your password without having to worry about security questions and other things that can be forgotten. This way, in case you forget your alternative email account, you will have your mobile phone number. However, if you forget your alternative email password, then you will have a big problem.
