It’s almost the end of the year and we’re looking at Chromebooks. What we wanted to know is if they got the Google Play Store support, as it was previously promised.

There are models that already have Google Play Store support and models that are added on the list and that will receive it. As you can imagine, the newest Chromebooks that have been released already have this feature, coming right out of the box. The previous models will receive an update and will have Google Play Store support. The older Chromebooks will get this support in the future, as there is more work to be done.

Chromebooks that Have Received or Will Receive Google Play Store Support (List)

Some Chromebooks, as we have already said, have this Android app (Google Play Store), either as a stable version (stable channel) or a beta version (beta channel). The following list shows us models of Chromebooks that have been added over time or that are planned to get the support.

Some of the Chromebooks that are on the stable channel are the following:

Chromebook R11 (CB5-132T, C738T), Chromebook Spin 11 (R751T), Chromebook R13 (CB5-312T), Chromebook 11 N7 (C731, C731T), Chromebook 11 (C771, C771T), Chromebook 14 (CB3-431), Chromebook 14 for Work (CP5-471), Chromebook 15 (CB3-532), and a lot more.

The Chromebooks that are on the beta channel are the following: Chromebook 13 G1 and Chromebook 3.

The Chromebooks that are on the planned list are the following:

Chromebook 11 (C740), Chromebook 11 (C730 / CB3-111 / C730E / CB3-131), Chromebook 15 (CB3-531), Chromebook C200, Chromebook C201PA, Chromebook C300, N6 Education Chromebook, ThinkPad 11e Chromebook, ThinkPad 11e Yoga Chromebook, Thinkpad 13 Chromebook and more.

The full lists are available on chromium.org, showing more chrome devices, and their manufacturers (which we didn’t include in these short lists). There are also Chromeboxes, and Chromebases into the compatible list for receiving the Android app.
