The interface had the New Tab Page changed and got a navigation bar. A modern layout for Chrome has also been released this month. Many devices have already received the new interface of Chrome 61.

One of the most unique new features is the addition of the automatic translation for web pages. When someone visits a webpage which is not in their native language, Chrome 61 will ask that person if the page should be translate. The translation process only takes a couple of seconds. Even if the feature existed on Chrome for Android, the interface receives an upgrade: a new design, more compact with tabs to switch between languages.

Some new additions and changes

Chrome 61 comes with a new file picker. A small popup located at the bottom of the screen and which gives users the option of opening the file manager or even the Camera.

The new Web Share API allows webpages to create share buttons very similar to those in Android apps. The Web Share API is enabled globally, saving time and effort.

The famous APK Download cryptographic signature, which guaranteed that the file is safe for installation, does not have to be introduced by Google. Users can now just download it.

The Visual Viewport API of Chrome 61 allows sites to interact better with pinch-and-zoom option.
Videos using native HTML5 controls will expand to full screen when the devices is rotated with the new Chrome.
